1 km= 1000 m
15 km= 15000 m
15000 m=15000 pennies
100 penny=1 dollar
15000=$150

or use dimensional analysis

(15 km÷1)*(1000m÷1km)*(100p÷1$)*(150÷15000p)=15000÷100=$150

(1km = 1000m) so (15km = 15000m) so

15000 pennies or $150.00
