If he’s cycling at 18 km per hour then it means that in 15 min (1/4 of the hour) he cycles at 4,5 km cause 18:4=4,5km

Hello,
we have the cyclist running at 18 km/h, or 18 km in 60 minutes.
we know that:
1/4 h=60:4= 15 minutes
so you have that:
18:4=4,5 km
therefore the cyclist does 4,5 km
bye :-)
