the answer to this question is Implicit
Implicit memory is related to the responses are procedural in nature. This memory usually correlated a certain situation/event into an appropriate response. In this particular case, a rat is considered a peculiar/foreign object to the child, so the brain ordered a response of fear as some sort of defense mechanism
