Social- individualism, libertarianism, (sexual and expression freedom) gradually occupied the social agenda in west and east, technical improvement became daily life, but were still very nationalists.

Economical- establishment of Breton-Woods organization

Political- It has become quite obvious that from then on there were at least two distinct worlds; communist and capitalists worlds (and as from 1955, a third world) other than that anti-colonialism took place
