If the population density of ocotillo in a desert is 15 per square kilometer, how many plants would be expected in an area that is 5 km by 3 km?

225 because to find the area of a square or rectangle you take LxW which is 3x5 and you get 15 square km. and since there is 15 per square km you multiply 15x15 and get 225.
