where we have marked the two points we will use to estimate the slope of this line.

Notice that one point is at (0, 3) and the other point at (-4 , 6)

So the slope of the segmets that join these points is given by:

slope m = (6 - 3 ) / (-4 -0) = 3 / (-4) = - 3/ 4

Adn since we see the y-intercept at (0, 3),

then the line is given (in slope intercept form) as:

y = - 3/4 x + 3
