Multiply both sides by 5 to get rid of fractions
2(x-2)=-15
Distribute on the left
2x-4=-15
Add 4 to both sides
2x=-11
Divide both sides by 2
x=-11/2
Final answer: x=-11/2 or x=-5.5

multiply by 5 first= 2(x-2)= -15 then do distributive property and finally solve the problem leading to the answer of -11/2, most likely
