How do you interpret algebraic expressions in terms of their context

Well, it really depends on the context they are in. For instance,

2x^2 + 3x is different than
2xyt + 3xy + 2xyt or

y = 2x + 5 or
2x^3 + 2x^2 + 4x + 4 They all are interpret differently. For instance, one is a line, another is a square and one is a cube.
