welllllll..... the process of elimination takes out B. and C. so on the right you would do 2xy= 2y annd 2x4= 8 on the right you would do -2xy=-2y and -2x2=-4so you are left with
-2y-(-4) < 2y-8

Since 12 does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right side of the inequality by subtracting 12 from both sides
-4y<-12
Divide each term by -4 and simplify
