Hello there!

In order to solve this problem we have to multiply
(km)/(3) - 2x = 4 \\ (km)/(3) (3) (Cancel3's)\\ 2x (3)= 6 \\ 4(3) = 12 \\ \\ \\ Problem Becomes: km - 6 \\ \\ Subtract6or,KM \\ km - km \\ 6 - 6 (cancel) \\ \\ \\ -6x - 12 - km \\ Divide 6 : (-6)/(6) \\ \\ \\ Answer: D. x = (km -12)/(6) by the number
3 on each of your sides

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
