Expanding it (with exponents, you can multiply the current power by the power the exponent is) to get
(x^(-18) * x^(-27) )/(x^(-24)*x^(-12)), and by adding the exponents up via multiplying them we get
(x^(-45))/(x^(-36)). Lastly, we can subtract -36 from -45 to get x^(-45-(-36))=x^(-45+36)=x^(-9)
