The number of combination of n things taken r at a time is given by :-


^nC_r=(n!)/(r!(n-r)!)

Given : Five people want to rent the last two copies of a movie.

Then, the number of ways these 5 people rent the 2 movies is given by:-
^5C_2=(5!)/(2!(5-2)!)\\\\=(5*4*3!)/(2*3!)=10

Hence, these five people can rent the two movies in 10 ways.
