P = 2(L + W)
P = 554
L = 4W - 8

554 = 2(4W - 8 + W)
554 = 2(5W - 8)
554 = 10W - 16
554 + 16 = 10W
570 = 10W
570/10 = W
57 = W <== width is 57 yds

L = 4W - 8
L = 4(57) - 8
L = 228 - 8
L = 220 <== length is 220 yds
