Let n be the number of friends. 8 4/7 = 56/7 + 4/7 = 60/7 meters of cloth This is the total length of the cloth. (60/7) / n = 10/7 60 / n = 10 60 = 10 n n = 6 Leah distributed the cloth to six friends.
