What Role Do Individuals Play In A Capitalist System?

Answer:

Since capatalism is a form of market economy, there is little government involvement. Therefore, the pronciple of supply and demand is the same. When the goods are profuces and and the price is chosen, we choose to pay it. If the price is high fewer people will buy it and supply is up, but demand is down. This will cause the prices to deflate because of buisiness lost. This works the other way as well.

Since the economy is a free-market, us the individuals decided prices by supply and demand. The people that world the typical 9-5 jobs are the ones that influence the economy the most, creating shortages or creating high supply with low prices. Free- market economy basically allows the people to decide what they will have on the market, and what they will buy with respect to government involvement.
