How was Cortez and the Aztecs relationship? Please explain I can't find anything about it.

Not very good, Cortes came and conquered the Aztec empire to claim for Spain. One of Cortes's men gave an Aztec smallpox which spread like wildfire and killed many Aztecs. The Aztecs did not like Cortes or the fact that he came after their gold.
