Which of these describes a way the body maintains homeostasis in a cold environment? A cramping B perspiring C relaxing D shivering

I think it could be B or D. Perspiring cools you down when you're hot, but shivering warms you up when you are cold. those are both examples of homeostasis.

Because it keeps all of the muscles in constant movement. Allowing them to keep from freezing and causing hypothermia.
