Answer:

B) malicious to respectful

Step-by-step explanation:

Ulrich desires to kill Georg at the begining because he wants the land back. Georg's family has kept a piece of land that ,by law, belongs to Ulrich. The two men's families have been at odds for years. However, when the two men finally meet face to face, neither of them dares shoot the other one. A storm breaks out and a big tree crashes onto the two men. As they get trapped under the tree and their lives are at risk, Ulrich starts feeling respect towards his neighbour. He even asks Geog that "if his men appear first , they can kill him".
