7/10x-1/5=4 should be written as (7/10)x - 1/5 + 4

or as 7x/10 - 1/5 = 4.

Multiply all 3 terms of the latter equation by 10 to eliminate fractions:

7x - 2 = 40

Then 7x =42, and x = 6.

What is the answer 7/10x-1/5=4
