Since -(-62) can equal 62 by crossing out the negatives (if there's a negative in front of a parenthesis, you can simply multiply the content of the parenthesis by -1) , we get m+62=45. Next, we can subtract 62 from both sides to get m=-17. Plugging x=-17 into each equation, we get that -17+25=8 and that's the right answer
