Percent error is a tool used for determining the precision of your calculations. It is being compared to an accepted value. The calculation of such requires the theoretical or an accepted value without this value, it would be hard to calculate. The formula is expressed as:
% Error = ( |accepted value - measured value| / accepted value ) x 100%
