I would say that Bruno's negligence is based on human error since humans are not perfect and can make mistakes and getting distracted is something that happensĀ  and unless he has a very disciplined mind he could fairly easily forget to mark the burner. However, he should probably be reprimanded or penalized so that he takes such matters more seriously next time to protect the users of the lab.
