5 people times 3 tickets each
5 times 3 = 15

So basically you want to say,
five people who each bought 3 tickets
Or,
five groups of 3 tickets.
So five groups of 3 tickets would be,
3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3,
or 3 * 5.
3 * 5 = 15.
