The area of rhombus is

A=\text{base}* height

In our case

\begin{gathered} \text{base}=14(1)/(2) \\ \text{height}=14 \end{gathered}

However, in order to compute the product, we must conver the mixed fraction into a simple fraction form, that is

14(1)/(2)=(2\cdot14+1)/(2)=(28+1)/(2)=(29)/(2)

Therefore, the our area is given by

\begin{gathered} A=(29)/(2)*14 \\ A=(29*14)/(2) \\ A=29*7 \end{gathered}

since 29 x 7 is equal to 203, the answer is A= 203 ft^2.
