Where is the Asteroid Belt located, and what makes Neptune's color appear to be that dark blue color?

the asteroid belt is located in between the orbits of mars and jupiter. The dark blue color comes from methane in neptunes atmosphere and it absorbs light from the sun but it reflects blue light from the sun back into space.
