Not A because regular means all sides are equal.
B has to be the answer because the others are not.
Not C because a right triangle is not regular, i.e. and equilateral triangle.
Not D because a rectangle has different side lengths.

Answer:

Figure B appears to be a polygon under certain conditions.

Explanation:

We are given the following information in the question:

Figure A is a hexagon with varying lengths.

Figure B is a pentagon.

Figure C is a right triangle.

Figure D is a rectangle.

We have to find which are the regular polygons.

  • A regular polygon is a polygon with all the sides equal and all the interior angles have equal measure.
  • That is a regular polygon is equiangular and equilateral.

Figure A is not regular because of varying length.

Figure B can be a regular pentagon provided it is equiangular and equilateral

Figure C cannot be a regular polygon because a right angle follows the Pythagoras theorem and all the three sides can never be equal in a right angled triangle.

Figure D cannot be a regular polygon as the length of only opposite sides are equal and not all sides are not equal.

Figure B appears to be a polygon under certain conditions.
