Ax+C=Bx+d
Subtract C from both sides
Ax=Bx+d-C
Subtract Bx from both sides
Ax-Bx=d-C
Extract x from left side
x(A-B)=d-C
Divide both sides by (A-B)
x=d-C/(A-B)
