4 m/s^2 Acceleration is change in speed over time. so in this case it is: Acceleration = (Final speed - Initial speed)/ Time Acceleration = (13 m/s - 5 m/s) / 2 s Acceleration = 8 m/s / 2 s Acceleration = 4 m/s^2
