Answer is 3.84kg

\text{If }(2)/(5)\text{ of the farmer sale is apple, then the remaining fraction, which is,1- }(2)/(5)=(3)/(5)\text{ will be for pears}
so,(3)/(5)*6.4=3.84\operatorname{kg}

So, the farmer sold 3.84kg of pears at the farmers market
