The function s(v)=3√v describes the side length, in units, of a cube with a volume of V cubic units. jason wants to build a cube with a minimum of 64 cubic centimeters

what is a reasonable range for s, the side length, in centimeters, of Jason's cube?

a. s > 0
b. s >_4
c. s >_ 8
d. s>_ 16

if v = 64 then
s(v) ∛64 = 4

answer

Answer:

Explanation:

alright lets get started.

The side of cube is given by the function

s(v)=\sqrt[3]{v}

If, Jason wants to build a cube with the minimum volume 64 cubic centimeters.

Plugging the value of volume in above function

s=\sqrt[3]{64}

Taking the cubic root of 64

s=4 :

So, side s should be atleast or more than 4 to have the volume as 64,

s\geq4 : answer option b

Hope it will help. :)
