Prokaryotes lack a defined nucleus
(which is where DNA and RNA are stored ineukaryotic cells
),
mitochondria
,
ER
,
golgi
apparatus, and so on. In addition to the lack of organelles,
prokaryotic cells
also lack a
cytoskeleton
. Does this help?
