Pollution in cities during the late 1800s was caused in part by horses,coal,and inadequate sewer systems.Is this statement true or false?

yes, the statement is true because during the 1800's the highlight of that time was the industrial revolution which during that time used a lot of coal to power factories and that polluted the air. Also the sewer systems were a source if pollution because of all the death and plague spilled into those rivers and then that water being drunken by the people and then that sickness spreading and causing even more death.
