Answer:

(goh) (4) = 7

Explanation:

g(x) =5x-3 and h(x) = sqrt x

g(x)= 5x-3 and
h(x)= √(x)

WE need to find (g o h)(4)

(g o h)(x) = g( h(x))

Plug in h(x) in g(x)

we know
h(x)= √(x)

Plug it in g(x)

(g o h)(x) = g( h(x))=g(√(x))

Now plug in sqrt(x) in g(x)

(g o h)(x) = g( h(x))=g(√(x))= 5√(x) - 3

To find (g o h)(4), plug in 4 for x

(g o h)(4) = g( h(4))=g(√(4))= 5√(4) - 3= 5(2)-3= 7

(goh) (4) = 7
