Osmosis is pretty much the movement of water and it always moving in the membrane. Diffusion doesn't need a membrane to produce molecules. And, diffusion is the movement of the molecules

Osmosis is the movement of water and is always the movement in the membrane. Diffusion does not need a membrane to make molecules and Diffusion is the movement of molecules.
