Simply multiply 5.62lb by $3.49/lb = 19.6138 or 19.61 in short form.

Pounds multiplied by the unit price will solve this problem. Be sure to round your answer to two decimal places; it's money $.
5.62 lbs x $3.49/lb = $19.61
