Understanding foreign languages is especially important for international managers because of some countries like China, Brazil, and Russia don't have English as their first or second language. Being able to communicate fluently with other people in other countries is a big plus when it comes to creating business relations. It is better to understand the language than relying on translators that can sometimes skew and misinterpret foreign words when translating to English and vice versa.
