There are 12 eggs in one dozen. In order to find the cost of one egg, divide $1.98 by 12: $1.98/12=$.165

We know that one dozen is 12 so with that all we need to do is divide $1.98 by 12 and get the unit price. The price for one egg is .165 cents.
