-(6)/(7)+(1)/(2)

The least common multiple of 7 and 2 is 14, so making the denominator 12as follows.


-(6)/(7)+(1)/(2)=(-6*2)/(7*2)+(1*7)/(2*7)


=(-12)/(14)+(7)/(14)


=(-12+7)/(14)


=(-5)/(14)

Hence the answer is


(-5)/(14)
