Ten times the sum of half a number x and 4 is 7?

if we turn this into an eq we get 10*((x/2)+4) =7
Divide both sides by ten
(x/2)+4 = 7/10
Then -4 on both sides
x/2=-3 3/10
mutiple both sides by 2
x= -6 6/10
x= -6.6
