If 10 miles is about 16 kilometers and the distance between two towns is 45 miles, use a ratio table to find the distance between the towns in kilometers

Okay. So, 10 miles is equivalent to 16 kilometers. The distance is 45 miles. How I see it is that 45 miles is 4.5 times as far as 10 miles. What I would do is multiply 16 and 4.5. 16 * 4.5. When you multiply both numbers, your product is 72. So the distance between the two towns is 72 kilometers.
