To solve inequalities we proceed as usual as when solving equations, we need to isolate the variable to one of the sides of the inequality.


\begin{gathered} 16x+8>12x+20 \\ 16x-12x>20-8 \\ 4x>12 \\ x>(12)/(4) \\ x>3 \end{gathered}

The solution of the inequality includes all number that are greater than 3.
