Inca Empire is known to be the largest empire in pre-Colombian America. The main method or feature used by Inca government to control the empire was the chain of command which started from an individual right up to the emperor. The small group which was called "Ayllus" made the basic feature. Ten ayllus had a chief who was supposed to report to higher authority, leading up to emperor. Another method was that they used to force the previous leader out and appoint an Inca leader on the community. Finally "Mita" system helped the government control the entire economy, where everyone had to pay a tax.
