A park district has 25 elm trees and 20 oak trees to be planted.They are separating the trees for different areas.They want each area to have the same number of elm trees and the same number of oak trees. What is the greatest number of areas that can be created?

Answer: There are 5 number of areas that can be created.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of elm trees = 25

Number of oak trees = 20

According to question, They want each area to have the same number of elm trees and the same number of oak trees.

So, the greatest number of areas that can be created is H.C.F. of 25 and 20 = 5.

Hence, there are 5 number of areas that can be created.
