Check:
5 plus 5= 10
8 time 3 = 24
24 + 6 = 30
30 times 5 = 150
150 plus 5 = 155

Distribute
155=5+40x+30
Add like terms
155=35+40x
Subtract 35 from 155
120=40x
Divide both sides by 40
3=x
