The answer would be -8.
Since -9/10 is a fraction, you could turn it into a decimal, which would be -0.9.
Now we have -0.9 - (-7.1)
A negative minus a negative is the same as adding.
-0.9+(-7.1)=-8

What is -9/10 - 7.1?
