I believe you have to find y by plugging in x.

6(-2) = 7 - 4y
-7 -7

-12 -7 = -4y
-19
/-4 /-4

4.75 = y
y = 4.75

6(-1) = 7 -4y
-7 -7

-13 = -4y
/-4 /-4

3.25 = y
y = 3.25

6(0) = 7 - 4y
-7 -7

-7 = -4y
/-4 /-4

1.75 = y
y = 1.75
