Testosterone is a hormone which induces masculine development in males like development of male sex hormones, increasing muscles and bone mass. Estrogen is a hormone which chiefly develop feminine characteristics like breast development, development of female sex organs. Generally, the levels of estrogen production is higher in females and less in males. But, decline in testosterone levels and increase in estrogen levels leads to subcutaneous deposition of fatty tissue in male breasts.
