Using a hand sanitizer only helps with food safety when you have:

A. Touched raw meat
B. Taken out the garbage
C. Coughed or sneezed into your hands
D. Washed your hands first

D.) Washed your hands first.

It is D.) because when you wash your hands first you're getting all the germs, dirt, or whatever is on your hands, off. Then you go back and put hand sanitizer to then in a sense "clean" it more. Plus who knows what is on that paper towel you just dried your hands with.

well in the question it says "helps with food safety" the only one here relating to food safety is A touched raw meant and i will agree cuz I do that a lot.
