Descent = 10 feet
Time required = 2 1/2 minutes.
The rate of descent = (10 feet)/(2.5 mn) = 4 ft/min
In 6 minutes, the descent will be
(4 ft/min)*(6 min) = 24 ft
Answer:
(a) 4 feet/minute
(b) 24 feet
