The Marshall Plan was a post-WWII initiative from the United States to help rebuild Europe. The U.S. gave over $13 billion in support through the program, which lasted from 1948 to 1951. Europe saw the fastest growth in it's history during this 4 year period, and most of Europe was able to recover from the war to the fullest capacity.
